Your information on your device

QRSprig does not require an account and includes no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDK. App usage counters stay on your device.

QRSprig does not use AI services. Saved QR codes, designs, contact details, scan history, folders, brand presets, and unfinished drafts are stored locally. Photos and logos you select, including originals retained for editing, may be saved with those designs. QRSprig does not upload these collections to a developer-operated server.

Camera, photos, and contacts

Camera scanning is processed on your device. You choose photos and contacts through Apple's system interfaces. Saving an image to Photos requires permission. The app does not upload your address book. Contact-card QR codes contain the contact details you enter; a directly shared contact file can also include your portrait.

Website previews and links

When QRSprig retrieves a website preview, it requests the page title and icon from the destination website. That website receives the requested address and ordinary network information, such as your IP address. Preview requests use temporary sessions without cookies. If you open a link, the destination's privacy practices apply.

Sharing, printing, and backups

You choose when and where to share or export codes, contact files, images, PDFs, and backups. Those files can contain personal information, photos, or Wi-Fi credentials you entered. Anyone who receives a QR code can read its encoded contents with a compatible scanner.

App-created backup ZIP files are not encrypted by QRSprig. They include saved designs and their assets, including retained original images, but not the unfinished editor draft. Store and share them carefully. Apple device backups may include app data according to your device settings. Other apps or services you choose for sharing or storage apply their own privacy practices.

Your choices

You can delete saved codes and scan history, remove presets, and discard unfinished drafts. You can manage app permissions in your device settings. History Lock uses device authentication to restrict access within the app; it does not protect files you have already shared, exported, or printed. Copies in external storage or backups must be managed separately.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can respond to your request. Send only the details needed for support. Contact us at the address below with questions about your support correspondence or a deletion request.

Classroom use

QRSprig can be used to create links to classroom resources. It does not require student accounts or maintain a student database. Teachers and families choose what information to encode and share. A linked learning resource may have its own sign-in, access rules, and privacy policy.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app changes. The date above identifies the latest revision.
